News from Biddlesden

The Biddlesden Tenebrae service on Good Friday, was well attended, thank you to Rachel Simpson for preparing and holding the service. Once again it was a very moving occasion.

Easter weekend proved to be a very popular venue at Tournament Stud, Syresham Fields Farm where campers filled the gallops field ready to do battle (of a historical re-enactment type). Could have been better weather, it was a bit on the damp and muddy side! It seems that the events at Tournament Stud are becoming more and more popular, so expect some more events through the summer.

The village skip was supposed to turn up recently for the last time and many residents emptied their sheds/lofts/gardens to make good use of it only to find that the council had cancelled it! There are no further skips expected due to Council cuts, so if anyone is heading down to the recycling centre please ask around to see if a neighbour needs anything taken over there.

There are no services planned for St Margaret's, Biddlesden this month, but you are always welcome at any of the other services held around the parish.
