The big event of the last few months has been the repairs of the pot holes in the village, although sadly not before they had caused much damage to a lot of vehicles and much inconvenience to the residents, hopefully the repairs will last for a long time. The storms earlier in May sadly brought down a tree, completely blocking the road, but as ever with most things there was a silver lining and we had a couple of blissful traffic-free days.
Unfortunately, some people still have various health issues and we send them our warmest wishes for continued good progress towards a full recovery, and we understand the tooth fairy has been on overtime in one household following a slight accident with a bike, a face, and the tarmac...hopefully rider now fully recovered and will soon be back competing ...
